Often stomatitis develops with infectious diseases (measles, scarlet fever, influenza, whooping cough, etc.) The mucous membrane of the oral cavity becomes bright red, becomes edematous, teeth imprints are visible on the mucous membrane of the cheeks and tongue.
Saliva becomes viscous, stringy.
The mucous membrane is covered with a whitish coating.
Tongue dry, edematous, often with a brown tint, painful chewing.
The duration of the disease is from 1 to 3 weeks, the prognosis is favorable.
